The "sheepskins" are thick enough to use as area rugs, with a pile that sits up about 1".  Works great as bedding, baby blankets, and are animal friendly & dye free. Imagine a dreamy-soft lamb's wool fleece woven into a smooth organic cotton backing. Much better than a traditional sheepskin, which is cured with toxic chemicals, and unmatched in its softness, its wool fibers stand about 1" high. Pure delight.
This topper may be therapeutic for those who spend a lot of time in bed, are prone to bed sores, and also may be helpful for those with fibromyalgia. It is incredibly healing, breathable and great for circulation. Mattress toppers are great for not only creating a natural sleeping surface, but for softening a bed.
Holy Lamb's natural fleece is made up of two fabrics that create an all-natural and sustainable sheepskin without the use of harsh tanning chemicals. Instead of skin, Premium Eco-Wool™ is woven into a backing of organic cotton knit yarns. This creates a stable fabric for the wool to stand vertically, supported by the woven cotton backing.
It's also wonderful used as a throw blanket - which comes in two sizes: 40" x 40" or an over-sized 80" x 80" which can be used over a queen size bed.
The finished product is made in a scent-free and chemical-free facility, and is a great choice for those with allergies or Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, MCS.
