    Description

    Vintage Salvadore Romero Cochiti Pueblo Ram fetish carving. Carved in the mid 1990's.   Excellent condition. Gray color. Hard stone. Fetish bundle on back with abalone, turquoise, and shell beads. Size is about 4 3/4" long  by 1 1/4" deep, by 2" tall
    Salvadore specializes in found rocks from the Cochiti Pueblo land. Minimal carving is done to bring out the "spirit" of the animal.
    Purchased by me in Santa Fe, New Mexico circa 1995.
