: This lovely cup and saucer has the green backstamp of Hammersley & Co, the iconic Stoke-on-Trent, England, china factory.
Hammersley began production in 1932. In 1976 it merged with Royal Worcester, and the Hammersley brand was retired in 1982.
Design
: The pretty and finely detailed pattern - with a pattern number that appears to be c430 - features beautifully hand painted roses and pansies against a pure white bone china background trimmed in pink.
Size
: The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches wide; the saucer is 5 inches wide. The set weighs 5.2 ounces.
Condition
: It's in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, marks, stains or repairs.
