2.5bar (37psi) PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE WITH GAUGE Pt.no. PRV37G
Used in hot and cold water systems in boats, motorhomes, caravans, campers to protect calorifers and pipework etc against bursting due to over pressurisation from hot water expansion or pump failure. Recommended where the pressure pump is rated 25-30psi. Also suitable for domestic and commercial applications.
The inclusion of the gauge helps in monitoring the performance of your system. NB - gauge supplied loose, buyer must assemble, this requires a small spanner and some PTFE tape or other thread sealing compound.
In the event of over pressure in the system, the valve lifts off its seat and excess water is ejected out of the side facing port. Connect pipework or hose to this port to carry any overflow safely away.
1/2"bsp female connections. Turn actuator knob 90deg in direction of arrow to test the valve.
Supplied as valve only or valve with fittings (1/2"bsp hexagon nipple and 1/2"bsp x 1/2" bore hosetail). Choose from the drop down menu.
