I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage bone china cup and saucer made by Hammersley & Co.
Charming  VIOLETS pattern
Likely dates from the 1950s
Very ornate in scalloped shape and ribbed embossed details
Trimmed in handpainted soft lilac purple
It is reminiscent of the quality and style produced by Shelley
Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, other damage or restoration and both pieces pass the ping test perfectly
One tiny pinhead blob of pale yellow underglaze near top edge of saucer from original production
Cup measures 2 1/2" tall and 4 1/8" across including handle; saucer is 5 7/8" across
Guaranteed to be VINTAGE and not reproduction or re-issued
Marked as shown in photo with cup also having pattern number c433 handp painted in black
Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash
