Hammersley Bone China Pattern 4049E Hand Colored Pink Roses Tea Cup & Saucer
Pretty vintage porcelain bone china tea cup and saucer. Decorated in the 4049E pattern with hand colored pink roses. With gold gilding along the edge and gold gilt highlights to the handle of the cup. Marked on the bottom Hammersley & Co Longton Stoke on Trent England. This mark was used starting in 1939. Also marked with the pattern number 4049E in red.
Has some wear to the gilding, crazing typical of British bone china, but no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide.
