To get the correct piston
- follow the process below.
Due to the fact that over the years engines have been replaced in many tractors, you can’t count on ordering pistons by the tractor model number or year. Use the following 5 steps to select the correct piston. The price is the same for all. Make your purchase and call or email us with the part numer.
1. Determine the diameter of the piston you are in need of, 4.2” or 4.4”.
2. Determine the size you need, standard bore size or over sized.
3. Measure the distance from the center of the pin hole to the top of the piston
(see second picture) to find the value of A.
4. Measure the pin diameter to find the value of B (see second picture).
5. Choose the piston part number that matches your findings.
