    Description

    I am selling a scarce 1869 shield nickel.
    This coin has a very rare 180 degree rotated reverse that I have never seen before on a shield nickel! The shield is vaguely outlined, with a couple of the shield lines partially showing, and some of the leaves and berries can be seen
    .
    A couple of the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST can be seen along the top and the date is clear. The 5 is clear on the reverse,
    all of the stars show and every one of the letters can be read. The coin is darker in color with some porosity/corrosion, but it is not bent. Still,
    an excellent addition to any error coin collection!
