1868 Shield Nickel for sale, scarce FS-901 variety with the reverse of 1868, identified by the star tip directly pointing to the A in STATES. The FS-901 variety is identified by the bottom of the C in CENTS missing/broken, and the S in CENTS and the tops of D in UNITED and S in STATES are struck. The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive. It has corroded/pitted surfaces on both sides and was cleaned at some point.
